Aston Martin Celebrates 110th Anniversary, Will Unveil A Limited-Production Special | Carscoops carscoops
Aston Martin announced that the year-long celebration for its 110th anniversary will include the unveiling of an “exclusive special model” later this year, and the debut of the brand’s first next-generation sportscar.special, other than it will be a “strictly limited” offering set to debut later this year. This likely means it is not the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate which has already been teased and will be fully unveiled on January 18.
As for the first of the next-generation Aston Martins, set to debut in 2023, the company says it will further enhance its focus on “ultra-luxury, high-performance, and driving intensity”. The first examples of the will be delivered in late 2023, but we’re not sure at this point if this is the model Aston Martin refers to.Aston Martin was founded on January 15, 1913, by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford, starting from a small workshop in Henniker Mews, London. In the next 110 years, the automaker sold more than 110,000 cars and built many successful racecars.
Amedeo Felisa, CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda, said: “Our 110th year promises to be just as exciting as our first, as we turn a new chapter in Aston Martin history with the launch of our next generation of sports cars and the reveal of an extraordinary special model later this year that will celebrate this unique milestone”.The announcement for the 110th anniversary of the brand was accompanied by studio shots of the 1923 Razor Blade alongside theflagship.
