about their personal lives and sexual preferences.
Cuomo's office could only provide documentation showing he completed the training in 2019. And even that document, which was purported to be signed by the governor himself, was actually signed by Stephanie Benton, the director of the governor's offices. Within three days of Cuomo's apparent review, the second document would be outdated: A new law making it easier to prove harassment in the workplace took effect Oct. 11, 2019, eliminating a standard that required "severe or pervasive" workplace harassment to make it illegal.
