in this prequel series. Unlike the gunslinger vibe of, this series is set to be more of an espionage/spy thriller exploring Cassian’s younger days. Kennedy announced that this project, which she declined to give the title for, would go into production next year in London.
The final announcement of the day belonged to Kennedy and special guest Ewan McGregor, who confirmed that he will be starring in the Obi-Wan series. Apparently this is a secret McGregor has been sitting on for about four years. Kennedy said the episode scripts for the Obi-Wan project are all finished and the show will begin shooting next year.
