The timeless recipe, that's been a staple on Pizza Express menus since 1965, uses just a few simple store cupboard ingredients, with big flavours coming from the fresh basil, deliciously gooey mozzarella and a rich tomato passata sauce.We all know someone who's so obsessed with IKEA's meatballs that they'll regularly make excuses just to visit the Swedish flat-pack furniture store for lunch.
Sadly lockdown means IKEA is closed for the foreseeable, but the good news is they've shared their much-loved meatball recipe for those missing their meatball fix. The recipe requires 16 ingredients; eight to make the meatballs and eight to make the creamy sauce, but just six steps.
