Boy, 14, arrested in Preston on suspicion of drug offences
Preston Police increased their presence in the Waverley Park area of Preston. At the time, local Task Force officers were patrolling the New Hall lane area of the city, actively aiming to disrupt drug dealers.
In conjunction with assistance from their colleagues on Response, officers from the force say they managed to pursue and detain a 14-year-old male. This was on suspicion of drug offences, after he decided to attempt to evade arrest. As a result of this arrest, a quantity of suspected class A drugs were seized. This is part of Lancashire Constabulary's Operation Warrior, tackling serious and organised crime in the county, that causes a threat to communities.
