Houston mother shot, killed by stray bullet visiting Dallas bar

Both died at Baylor University Medical Center, according to Metro Video and authorities.

Officials say Gossett was on the patio of Bitter End bar when a suspect approached him and fired multiple shots. One of the rounds went through a window at the bar, hitting Jones who was standing inside, police said. Authorities reported that the suspect fled north on Elm Street. He was described as a thin, 6-foot-tall Black man wearing a black hoodie with a design on the front, shorts and a ski mask.
