Business coach, Jessica Bahena shares 3 questions she uses to help guide clients.
Below Bahena shares the three questions that can help ensure you’re serving your audience effectively.Starting with where you are is step number one, according to Bahena. You want to take stock of who you want to serve and narrow in on that niche audience.
“I always pass along a lesson I’ve learned from Seth Godin; learn how to narrow your niche to the smallest viable market,” adds Bahena. “Once you learn what that looks like for you, become obsessed with learning about your target audience and serving your perfect customer. It’s important that you aim to be recognized as the go-to expert in this niche.” This questions will make easy for you to pinpoint how you’re filling the gap for your audience.
“Don’t be afraid to promote a skill or service that is deeply needed at this time,” encourages Bahena. “Think of all of the new challenges that have presented themselves as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic over the last couple of weeks. For example, children having to stay at home with parents due to schools shutting down, entrepreneurship concerns about how to shift their business objectives during this pandemic or even experiencing a lack of ideas for how to prepare a healthy meal at home.
“Show up and serve those who need you and could benefit from learning from you during this time,” states Bahena. ‘Seek ways to add value to current and potential new clients. Remember that many people are feeling uncertain about their goals and unmotivated about their projects and businesses around times like this. How can you best provide support?”
