Former Love Island and upcoming Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott answers top fan questions about her hair and her skin – and shares what her strands look like after avoiding bleach for five months
We can't wait to see Zara McDermott on our screens every weekend when Strictly Come Dancing kicks off next month – we can already imagine her fitting right in with the glamour of the BBC show. We also predict we're about to see some big things from her hair and make-up as soon as she hits the ballroom floor. However, if you think her Strictly prep is well underway, you'd be wrong.
"What I love about Alexe...I haven't had my hair coloured in over 5 months and it looks like this. Wizard!" she writes, sharing a recent image of her perfectly toned balayage. The star had previously been rocking a grown-out shadow root with an ashy blonde colour streaked through to the ends, but she then opted for a perfect golden glow with honey blonde tones throughout and some money piece front sections.
During the same Instagram Story segment, Zara takes the time to answer follower questions – and plenty relate to her hair and skincare.Zara replies: "Will be very honest. They are easy to style if you know how and have time in the mornings. It only takes 10 mins or so, but my hair is extremely straight naturally so even when I style them, they end up just hanging on my face within an hour.
