On Monday’s episode of TheBachelorette, Hannah stood up for herself in a way that few other Bachelorettes have
on an adventure neither will soon forget. When the two arrived for their date, Hannah thought she had the upper hand on her man; she did, after all, know they were going to jump from an air tram with nothing but a thick cord between them and the water below. But it seems she didknow that Latvian couples have a tradition of jumping naked. You know what they say—“When in Riga. . .”
It’s discouraging, then, to see that after yet another foregone cocktail hour, Hannah chose to keep Luke around in this week’s rose ceremony. But perhaps we should all have a little faith in her. In Monday’s episode, Hannah also stood up for herself in a way that few Bachelorettes have. And given another argument we’ve seen in the season’s previews, she’s just getting started.
That last point is why it likely surprised no one that when Garrett returned to the house and began gushing about he and Hannah’s joint audition forLuke P. grew testy. At first, he didn’t believe Garrett—but when Hannah shared her own story about the date with the guys, Luke’s possessive streak once again took over. He eventually pulled Hannah aside.
