Hit neo-Western drama Yellowstone has once again shattered ratings records in all demographics with the release of its fifth season. The Taylor Sheridan and John Linson-created series saw viewership dramatically increase from the last season with over 12.1 million viewers tuning in to watch the Season 5 premiere on Sunday, November 13.
COLLIDER VIDEO OF THE DAY The series has been a certified hit since its debut, so it comes as no surprise that the anticipated Season 5 will premiere to an impressive start. The show's ratings also saw a dramatic increase with the premiere’s simulcast, which clocked in over 10 million viewers, and a total of 12 million viewers watching via the premiere’s night simulcast.
Season 5 of Yellowstone premiered Sunday, November 13. The series follows the Dutton family, who own the largest ranch in Montana, ‘the Yellowstone’ , and their constant battle with corporations, the Broken Rock Indian Reservation, and developers to maintain their legacy and land. Season 5 will see the battle for ownership of Yellowstone continue, with the first episode seeing John Dutton reluctantly taking on a new role in government as the Governor of Montana.
