The Xbox Design Lab has just been made even better as you can now customize an Xbox controller with its colorful new range of 'Shift' designs.
If you're in the market for a new Xbox controller and have been thinking about customizing your own through the Xbox Design Lab, Microsoft has just released a new range of design options. The colorful and shimmery 'Shift' series of Xbox controllers are now available through the Xbox Design Lab.
Not only can you customize a new Xbox controller with the previously announced Aqua, Lunar, and Stellar Shift body designs, Microsoft has also unveiled the brand-new Cosmic Shift controller, which is exclusive to the Xbox Design Lab. Cosmic Shift is a shimmery white-pink color, and according to Microsoft, it's"perfectly subtle, reminiscent of a star-filled nebula" and provides a"unique aesthetic for you to get your hands on.
When designing a new pad, the four new Shift body colors can only be used to customize a standard Xbox Wireless Controller — they are not available for the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Unsurprisingly, they do cost more than a free standard body color, coming in at $9.99 / £7.99.
