One extreme X-Men hero who was introduced in the '90s could kill Wolverine like it's nothing, and his healing factor wouldn't be able to save him.

There aren’t many mutants who can boast that they can defeat Wolverine by effectively rendering his healing factor totally useless, but one extreme ‘90s X-Men member is one of those mutants.

James “Logan” Howlett aka Wolverine was born with a number of mutant abilities including heightened, animalistic senses, retractable claws that extend from his knuckles, and a healing factor–and while the claws may seem like the most useful aspect of his mutation in terms of battle scenarios, it’s his healing factor that stands above the other powers.

Blink’s energy blades could slice through Holocaust’s self-healing armor like butter, which damaged him enough to send him running scared. Obviously, it seems as though someone like Wolverine wouldn’t stand a chance against her. Flesh is nothing compared to Holocaust’s armor, and the strength of Wolverine's adamantium would even have to be called into question in this regard.

Blink is Sabretooth’s Mentee, Giving Her Motive to Kill Wolverine The reason Blink fought so ferociously against Holocaust is that she believed he killed Sabretooth, who was her mentor and someone Blink cared about on a very deep and emotional level.
