A Wyandot County Sheriff's deputy died Thursday afternoon after the van he was driving while transporting a prisoner collided with a pickup truck on Ohio Route 56, according to the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office.
Wyandot County Deputy Daniel J. Kin, of Upper Sandusky was driving the transport van north on Route 104 before crashing into a Dodge Ram that was traveling east on Route 56, according to the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office. Kin was a deputy in Seneca County before joining the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office in October 2021, according to"It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of our dear friend and colleague, Deputy Daniel J.
