The All Mighty was facing off with Drew McIntyre as part of the company’s four-date European Tour this week – which comes months before– but the action took a terrifying turn when the top rope snapped and sent him crashing to the floor. In a video shared on Twitter, Lashley and the Scottish Warrior can be seen running and bouncing off the ropes, but they break on McIntyre’s side, leaving his opponent with nothing to stop him falling out of the ring.
Bobby went backwards – and head first – in the unplanned moment with the referee immediately hopping out to check onSami Zayn was at ringside antagonising Drew during the match, and he also appeared to make sure Lashley was OK before helping him back into the ring. Fans on Twitter who were in attendance have revealed the star was thankfully in good shape after the incident and able to finish the match.
