TeraWatt Infrastructure has raised more than $1 billion to build EV charging centers for commercial vehicle fleets
TeraWatt Infrastructure Inc. plans to announce Tuesday that it has raised more than $1 billion to build electric-vehicle charging stations for commercial fleets of cars, delivery vans or trucks.
Ms. Palmer said that providing the huge amounts of power commercial fleets need requires navigating a complicated permitting and technical landscape. To make matters more complicated, the spots where companies currently park commercial fleets were chosen for things like highway access, not the, Mr. Birnbaum said. Fleets adding EVs have to figure out how to match up their arrival with the installation of chargers.
