Robert Sanger, 62, fell from a lift at Gillian's Wonderland Pier, city officials say.
He was working on the Ferris wheel at the time of the accident.
The president of Gillian's Wonderland Pier, Jay Gillian, said in a statement,"Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family."The park was not open to the public when the accident happened. City officials say the fall remains under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.Sister station WPVI in Philadelphia reached out to Cargo Tech International, which is based in Swedesboro, but was unable to reach anyone for comment Monday afternoon.
