The trailer for the fantasy movie Wonderwell reveals the final onscreen performance of the late Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher, who passed away in 2016.
Wonderwell, the movie featuring the final performance from Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher, has unveiled its official trailer. Fisher's performance in the movie was wrapped just six weeks before her untimely death in December 2016. However, issues with the post-production budget and visual effects compounded with the COVID-19 shutdown to result in the movie not being finished until now, seven years after her passing.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The trailer begins by introducing imaginative runaway Violet , who accidentally finds herself transported to the magical world of Wonderwell while on a walk in the woods. There she meets Carrie Fisher's Hazel, a forest witch who is attuned with nature and who helps Violet on her journey to protect her from the wrath of the town's witch Yana and get back home before she is trapped in Wonderwell forever.
