WomenInMind launches fragrance collection fashion news fragrance
As life returns to something like normal this summer, and for many gradually gets busier again, many of us will be seeking products that help us reconnect and flourish.
London-based lifestyle brand Women in Mind has a launch that’s perfectly timed, with the debut of a scented candle, Eau de Toilette and fragranced oil roll-on. Women in Mind founder, renowned photographer turned entrepreneur Wasma Mansour, is inspired in her work by women leading busy lives of work, family and competing priorities. For this foray into fragrance, she returned to childhood memories of her mother layering perfume to create a unique scent.
There are two main scents in the collection. London Fields is fresh, sweet and floral, with notes of rose, orange blossom, patchouli, bergamot, geranium and lavender, tempered with the woody softness of cedar and fruity Osmanthus. Harlem Rose is more musky and spicy, featuring Styrax, ylang, jasmin, suede leather and Arabica coffee, as well as the powdery sweetness of damask rose and mimosa. For added boldness, there are darker notes of resin and white musk drift.
