Leia Bryson, 20, was on trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court accused of owning a Labrador and Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross that was dangerously out of control on November 17 2022.
Court papers said the dog killed Chelsea Preston's maltipoo Teddy and bit the dog's owner to her injury in the city's Maryhill. The 24-year-old BT employee claimed a “big dog” galloped and leapt at her as she held seven-month-old Teddy in her arms.The witness claimed that she was bit on the face which was"full of blood."The dog was later kept in a box to be cremated.Sheriff Kevin McCarron upheld the submission and acquitted Bryson of the single charge.
