The pair in matching grey trackies became 'intoxicated' and 'disorderly' on an Eva Air flight to Bangkok, witnesses say.
A booze-fuelled row between two holidaymakers ended in one of them chucking a huge wad of cash at the other as police escorted them off a plane.
The woman eventually moved to another seat in a higher class but refused to pay for the upgrade cost, according to flight operator Eva Air.‘Our flight attendants took quick action to stop these passengers but encountered inappropriate insults and physical abuse,’ an Eva Air spokesperson said. Andy Singh, a 63-year-old granddad who was going on Holiday to Thailand, said the man had to be gaffer-taped to his seat by a group of ‘seven or eight big people’.He was kept there for three house while the plane was diverted to Vienna for ‘staff safety and the passengers’ safety’.
