“Although your office directed the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office to cause an internal affairs investigation to be done, the Sheriff conducted a fake investigation and closed the matter,” Jackson wrote to the OPIA. “A real investigation, compliant with the Attorney General’s Rules, was never conducted and the Passaic County Prosecutor never followed up on the Sheriff’s defiance of their—and your—directive.
