The vehicle was “off the roadway and hidden in the brush” near the intersection of interstates 10 and 37, San Antonio police said.A woman was found dead near a burned vehicle on the South Side early this morning, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Officers investigating a report of a burning vehicle in the 1400 block of Interstate 10, near the intersection with Interstate 37, found the vehicle “off the roadway and hidden in the brush” about 5 a.m., according to a preliminary report. After firefighters put out the blaze, the woman’s body was discovered outside of the car, police said.
Investigators determined that the vehicle had not been in an accident and that it had been at the location “for some time,” according to the report.
