Emergency services raced Dalmarnock Road at roughly 6.20pm last night after receiving reports that a female pedestrian had been involved in a collision.
A picture taken from the scene shows three police cars blocking the road where the collision took place. The woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment. The extent of her injuries are not yet known. A police spokesperson said: "Around 6.20pm on Friday, 16 December, 2022, police received a report of a crash involving a van and a female pedestrian in Dalmarnock Road, Rutherglen.
"Emergency services attended and the pedestrian was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow."READ NEXT:
