A woman was fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle on the outskirts of Koreatown, officers said.
The crash occurred at about 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the area of Pico Boulevard and Wilton Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The vehicle was going eastbound on Pico when it struck the woman, who was crossing the street, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The LAPD's West Traffic Division urged anyone with information regarding the crash to call them at 213-473-0234 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222- 8477. Tipsters may also visit www.lapdonline.org, and click on"Anonymous Web Tips" under the Get Involved-Crime Stoppers menu to submit an online tip.
A reward of up to $50,000 is available to anyone who provides information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of a hit- and-run driver or resolution through a civil compromise.
