A 23-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in her Staten Island home Wednesday, police said.
According to authorities, at around 10 p.m. on June 21, officers performed a wellness check at 371 Van Name Avenue in Mariners Harbor, where they found the woman and recovered a knife.
Paramedics pronounced the victim — whose identity is being withheld by police pending family notification — dead at the scene.reported that the woman’s body was discovered in the bedroom of the home and that her injuries included stab wounds to the back.
