The Colombian woman who wishes to remain anonymous was on the brink of losing her home before she secured a life-changing £268,000 jackpot win from two lottery tickets.
A woman who was dumped by her disloyal husband for her best friend saw her bad luck turn into good fortune after she won a double lottery jackpot in Colombia. The anonymous gambler from Barranquilla secured a £268,000 jackpot from two lottery tickets which have solved all of her financial problems.
Yet that day, she had the winning ticket 8628 in the El Siunano lottery and 1935 in the Caribbean night draw. Local media outlet Zona Cero reported that she was a seamstress and was only days away from being evicted from her home as she couldn't afford the mortgage. She was reportedly 'trembling' when she found out she had won the biggest ever jackpot in the South American country where the average monthly salary is around £800. She is also believed to have taken home the biggest amount ever won in the Supergiros lottery she entered.
