BREAKING: The Met Police say a woman has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer during a suspected crush incident outside the O2 Academy Brixton on Thursday night.
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer during a suspected crush outside the O2 Academy Brixton last night.Police were called to reports of a number of people trying to get in without a ticket at around 9.30pm.
The show was stopped halfway through and fans were reportedly told that ‘3,000 people had breached the door’.supports HTML5 video In a statement outside Brixton police station on Friday afternoon, Commander Colin Wingrove said an ‘urgent investigation’ was underway. He added three people were in a critical condition in hospital following the incident, down from four reported by the force earlier on Friday.
