An unnamed woman testified Monday that R&B singer R. Kelly exploited her dream of becoming a singer to lure her into a sexual relationship, which she claims eventually turned abusive, as Kelly’s trial for sex trafficking and racketeering moves into its second week.... [+]

The woman, identified in court only as Jane Doe, said she was 17 and an aspiring singer when she began communicating with Kelly after obtaining his number from one of his entourage at an Orlando festival, according to multiple reports.
While initially reluctant, she eventually gave in, telling jurors she “didn’t necessarily care for that” but just “wanted to sing,”
