A woman has been charged after authorities alleged she intentionally set her own home on fire, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. Lisa Ziobro, 44, of Barnegat, faces two counts of aggravated arson and four counts of arson for the fire that erupted at her Waterfall Lane residence on Tuesday, officials said.
Firefighters and police responded to the scene about 7:30 a.m. and were able to extinguish the fire, authorities said. A family dog was rescued and unharmed, but a pet bird perished in the blaze, officials said.
