Police are currently treating her death as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
A woman has sadly died after taking unwell at a swimming pool in Perth this morning. Emergency services were called to Perth Leisure Pool on Glasgow Road shortly before 11am on Friday morning to reports of a 71-year-old woman taking unwell.
Live Active Leisure, which runs the Glasgow Road facility, sent their condolences to the family and confirmed the pool would be closed for the rest of the day as a mark of respect.View gallery In a social media post, they wrote: "It is with great sadness that we can confirm that a customer has died after taking unwell at Perth Leisure Pool today, our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to the family and friends at this difficult time.
