Allan Graham has been given a ban on owning dogs after his Staffordshire bull terrier cross Bruiser was found underweight with a foul-smelling coat covered in dandruff.
A Wishaw man left his dog to starve and drink of out a water bowl that was coloured green with algae.
An examination at the vets found that Bruiser weighed 13.8kg with loss of muscle mass, especially over his hindquarters. “Due to concerns for Bruiser’s welfare, we removed him from the property and took him to a veterinary surgeon for examination.
