Freezing rain is expected in the early hours of Thursday as the temperatures drop and a snowstorm is expected from about 9 a.m. through Thursday evening, National Weather Service meteorologist Zachary Yack said Tuesday afternoon. “So there’s definitely potential to see quite a bit of some winter impacts from blowing snow and even some of those heavier snow amounts as well,” he said.
