San Antonio is hoping the new 311 virtual assistant reflects the largely Hispanic community it serves.
. The survey, which allows you to listen to a male and female voice and make selections, is open through March 24. Locals are also asked to give their input on a name for the new interactive virtual assistant that is similar to ones you might find at a large corporation.
Stallcup said that real-life city employees won’t be going away anytime soon. The new virtual assistant will simply help streamline the process of asking for help from the city of San Antonio. Today, people who identify as Hispanic or Latino make up the majority of San Antonio’s population at 65.7 percent, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
