Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange May Be Extradited To The U.S, London Court Rules

: “We condemn today’s UK High Court decision to allow the extradition of Julian Assange to the US, which will prove historic for all the wrong reasons…We defend this case because of its dangerous implications for the future of press freedom around the world.”Assange, 49, faces criminal charges in the U.S. relating to Wikileaks’ release of confidential U.S. military documents and multiple diplomatic cables. U.S. authorities have alleged that Assange aided former U.S.

Assange has also been accused of being complicit in hacking incidents carried out by others, and publishing classified information that endangered informants. Assange’s lawyers have denied that he ever worked with Manning and claimed that the U.S.’s actions against him are politically motivated as Wikileaks published documents that revealed evidence of war crimes and human rights abuses.
