If you watched the more than two hours of athletes walking in the Opening Ceremony in Tokyo and you were excitedly waiting to see Team USA, especially Simone Biles, you might have been disappointed since she wasn't there. Don't worry — she's OK! According to the, the Women's Gymnastics Team didn't walk because the team is"focused on preparation," said Meredith Yeoman, a spokeswoman for USA Gymnastics.
This mini ceremony was right outside where Biles is staying in a hotel nearby the athlete's Olympic Village since the team opted to take extra precautions and not stay in Olympic Village.
