Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has suggested the Spanish Grand Prix timesheet may have been lying a little bit with regards to the true pace gap between Red Bull and the Silver Arrows.
Red Bull boss Christian Horner was quick to highlight that seismic gap when asked in the immediate aftermath of the race whether he was now concerned that Mercedes are going to be breathing down their necks. “I think towards the end [of the race] Lewis was cruising at around two, three seconds [below the norm] so the gap was sub-15 seconds or around that benchmark.”Lewis Hamilton net worth: Where does he rank against football icons Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo?
