Stefanski acknowledged that with Watson’s exceptional arm talent and dual-threat ability, the possibilities are endless.
INDIANAPOLIS — Kevin Stefanski is as confident as ever that Deshaun Watson will be the player in 2023 that the Browns broke the bank on last offseason with the NFL’s first fully guaranteed contract worth $230 million.
“My confidence comes from seeing him do it, seeing him do it in practice, in games,” Stefanski said Wednesday at the NFL Scouting Combine. “I know that he wants to be better. I know we’re going to try to be better around him, those type of things, but he’s played at a really high level in this league going back to college days. He’s a winner, so I’m excited for him.”
