Deandre Ayton has posted back-to-back 20-point games since All-Star break, but is averaging just 6.7 rebounds in Phoenix's last three games.
“Not only the offense, but I’ve got to get more on the glass,” Ayton said. “Put more pressure on the offensive glass and give our guys more looks, more opportunities. Rebounding, closing possessions out.”
The Suns have seven players currently playing outside of Ayton averaging at least 4.1 rebounds a game, two averaging 6-plus a game in JaVale McGee and Bismack Biyombo and three pulling down 5-plus a game in Jae Crowder , Devin Booker and Torrey Craig . Still, Ayton is averaging a career-low 10 rebounds a game this season – and even fewer since the All-Star break.
