Everton Women swapped their usual warm-up shirt sponsor for football campaign Her Game Too for their derby against Liverpool.
Both the men and the women’s teams have been working together with the non-profit organisation, who are partnered with 67 out of the 92 football clubs and have ambassadors up and down the country.showed their support by donating the space on the club’s shirts to the campaign’s logo on the pre-match warm-up t-shirts, enabling exposure to a TV audience as well as a bumper crowd.asked 371 female football fans to complete a survey regarding sexist abuse a staggering 91.
The campaign has partnered with numerous women’s teams, and Everton Women’s players told talkSPORT how important it was to them that there was finally a campaign in football representing and protecting women in the sport.
