On “First Take,” Steven A. Smit cites his main reason why he thinks there are better teams than the Cowboys.
Smith was on “First Take,” when he explained why he picked the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers as superior teams heading into the season.
“There’s a reason I had ‘em [the Cowboys] as the third-best team in the NFC,” said Smith, “It’s because of that man at the quarterback position [Dak Prescott.]”“The reality is he’s got two playoff victories in eight years, it’s unacceptable, “ said Smith, “ There’s nothing to believe that he’s gonna get [win] No. 3 or No. 4 this season, in the postseason.”
Fellow panelist Shannon Sharpe agreed with Smith saying Prescott was too inconsistent at the quarterback position.
