There is the pitiless New Mexico sun, the garish colors of Saul’s cheap suits, the chiaroscuro light in every room. And I haven’t even mentioned Mike, the craggy fixer played by Jonathan Banks with a defeated tough-guy gravity I’ve never quite seen in a character actor before.
