Even after big loss to Texas, BYU’s season outlook still remains unchanged

But BYU was never going to measure this season based on whether it could hang with a College Football Playoff contender in its first year in the Big 12. And it wasn’t entirely as bad as the box score would say — at least not on defense. “When you see them on film, they just pop off with the talent and the depth. You can tell this thing is starting to really build.
