Raul Ibanez, along with Pa. governor Josh Shapiro, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of Game 3 of the NLDS between the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves.The Phillies have been perfect in their home ballpark so far this postseason, sweeping the Miami Marlins in the Wild Card round. But now things will get a bit tougher against the 104-win Braves.
Ibanez was a part of the 2009 Phillies team that won the National League championship, before losing to the New York Yankees in the World Series. He now is the senior vice president of on-field operations for Major League Baseball.
