Kathy Hochul, a Buffalo native and former Democratic congresswoman, would assume the governorship if Andrew Cuomo resigns or is impeached, and she would also be the first governor from outside of New York City.
after an investigation led by New York Attorney General Letitia James found he had sexually harassed nearly a dozen women. James released a report detailing the findings on Tuesday, and said Cuomo “sexually harassed current and former state employees in violation of both federal and state laws.”
