Donald Trump's attorney Joe Tacopina has landed in the spotlight since taking on the fight against what he's called a politically motivated indictment against the former president.

The case goes to trial April 25, and he's the lead attorney.
After then-state senator Hiram Monserrate slashed his girlfriend in the face with a broken drinking glass, Tacopina got him acquitted on the top charge.
