AP Photo/Andrew HarnikWhile the House enters the final stretch of debate before the vote on whether to impeach President Trump, senators on Capitol Hill said they received packages from the White House containing two Christmas cards—as well as copies of the rambling,Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy tweeted photos of the package contents.
“True story: there is a White House staffer going around the Senate” delivering the cards and letters, wrote Murphy. Murphy also wrote one Christmas card, approximately 16 inches by 12 inches, is “giant,” and “implausibly” coupled with a smaller, second card. “Thanks for this card & your 6 page impeachment screed. Bizarrely delivered together,” wrote Blumenthal.
