Many fans of anime all around the world were introduced to the medium through the Dragon Ball franchise, particularly Dragon Ball Z. The show did a lot to propel anime as a whole to the international stage, and its impact is still felt as many manga and anime have been inspired by the series. Fans today are still watching the iconic Dragon Ball Z show, and here is where and how it's available on streaming.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Dragon Ball Z is anime based on the manga of same title by Akira Toriyama. It is the sequel to Dragon Ball, and originally ran from April 1989 to January 1996 for a whooping 291 episodes. It was followed by Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super. Dragon Ball Z even received a remake titled Dragon Ball Z Kai, which got rid of the filler episodes and improved the art and animation of the original.
The series is available on Amazon Prime as well, but you can only buy and then stream it, unlike these other subscription-based platforms. Dragon Ball Z Kai, on top of being available on the platforms previously mentioned, is also available on Hulu. The original version is not yet available on Hulu, but hopefully it will be in the future. Fans of Dragon Ball Z thus have the option of watching the original series or the Kai remake, and many streaming platforms to chose from.
