Updated at 12:48 p.m. with additional information.Here’s what’s known so far:Dallas police Chief Eddie García said at a news conference the shooting happened just before 11 a.m. when a 37-year-old woman was dropped off at the airport. García said she went into a bathroom and came out wearing a hoodie. She then pulled out a gun, pointed it at the ceiling and fired several shots into the air.
Officers shot the woman in her lower extremities, García said. She was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. Southwest Airlines flights to Dallas Love Field are under a ground stop.
