. Tesla has fiddled with several cars, including the Model S and X , and now comes the Model 3's turn. We've generally praised the Model 3 lineup for its excellent electric performance, range, and safety ratings but have criticized the road noise, tire noise, build quality, and inconsistent driver assistance features. After Project Highland, Tesla says the Model 3 should be vastly improved.
Tesla's rear-suspension adjustments have improved comfort for rear seat passengers, thanks to better ride quality and body control at higher speeds. As in the front, the rear bushings have also been swapped out to improve NVH and quiet.Tesla modified the Model 3's rubber rear subframe mounting to further reduce noise. This change contributes to the overall reduction in NVH and improved rear-axle ride quality.
