The Corridor, a critical “humanitarian” link between Armenia and the enclave of Karabakh within Azerbaijan, is the focal point of the recent escalation of tension between the neighbours, since the December 2022.

Azerbaijan dismisses these claims, saying vehicles carrying humanitarian aid belonging to the Red Cross and the Russian peacekeeping contingent continue to pass through the Corridor, as they have been doing since the implementation of the Tripartite Declaration signed between Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia after the 2020 war.But that is not all.
